There is big debate between fans about should they be Daniel and ENIC out or not. Real fans want trophies which they didn't see since 2008. They accuse Daniel for not spending enough, for running club like totalitarian leader, the most radical even call him a parasite who suck money from club to fill his pockets with ultimate goal to build buildings with that money. I joined Daniel and ENIC out because I feel there is something wrong with squad and even thinking he Daniel stands behind this to sack the manager. His interviews in which he mention plans about building hotel, residential buildings and some more exciting projects he can't talk about for now didn't help his cause.

Financial report is out and we can see revenues and expenses of club for season 2021/22. You can download it from club's website. I think we published report first. At least we are first in something. :) I am not an accountant and I must confess I don't fully understand it. There are revenue of around 443 million, but there are even bigger expenses and if I read this right club lost around 61 million and thanks to taxation loss is only 50 million pounds. What they say no everything is in revenue something is in expenses of "9th richest club in the world" too.

I fully understand structure of revenues.

However I am struggling with expenses:

Depreciation of property, plant and equipment is baffling me. It's 72 million pounds. I saw on twitter that is because we built stadium recently. I saw also that other clubs have this expense a lot lower. On example Newcastle only 3 million. I am not sure if this is something which we are paying in cache or some trick of accountants to show ourselves like in loss to gain taxation. Easy understandable are players and staff salaries of 209 million, while "Other operational costs" of 121 million were not mentioned bellow, but I can see it's doubled compared to last report.

There is also amortization in transfers something like value divided with years of contract of 79 million. That brings us to expenses bigger than revenue. I am not from England and I am not sure are those 72 and 79 depreciation and amortization are paid in cache or not. I read on internet that depreciation is there to help companies to show something they built in multiple reports so I am not sure. Do you maybe know that ?

This is key and that must be explained to fans so they can have pure picture. What is sure it is 209 million for wages, 42 million to the banks, 121 million of other operational costs. If that is the case then it's around 372 and we should have 443-372 which is 71 million of real cache profit which we can use for transfers. If depreciation is paid in cache we're around zero.

It is not clear if "non football events on stadium" are included here or in some other report. Champions League money of around 100 million and bigger tv rights should increase our position this summer. It's not clear why other operational costs jumped so high compared to previous year and I really hope building hotels or something like that is not inside of it.

Some competent accountant should look at this and explain to fans how things stand. To be honest I don't see why would authorities punish football club for building new stadium with 79 million pounds fine yearly ?

I also found out that salary expenses are 45% or revenue which is low percentage compared to other clubs. Fact is also Daniel Levy is the chairman with the biggest yearly salary.

Meanwhile Bissouma got injured went under surgery and will be out probably until the end of season so we are with Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Sarr in midfield. That's big blow before Milan game because Hojbjerg has been suspended for it. Our full all fit squad lasted for couple of days and it was honor to watch our team against City in that state. Today is game against Leicester and I really hope Son's team mates will find a way to send him ball in free space to run and shot as well as Fraser Forster will do his job good! COYS!
